  • Hidden gem restaurant serving Irish and Italian dishes. The Irish Steak and carbonara pasta and pizza were 10/10. The Italian gelato ice creams were topclass especially strawberry and oreo. I could see they seel them gelato in tubes to take home, how amazing as its homemade gelato. I liked the decor was very unique, the coffe's was top class and the music in the background Italians hits from years ago we all know, very peaceful and people come and go all the time, it looked like popular spot for families too. When Irish Steak came it was wow for presentation 10/10 too.

  • What a lovely place! We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here - it was cosy and comfortable, and really family friendly - they even had left lovely colouring pages and twistables on the table when they knew we had a child on our booking.


    The staff were lovely and attentive, and friendly too. The food was absolutely fabulous. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever tasted - we fought over it 😂. We just had a really lovely time and enjoyed everything. Highly recommend.

  • We eat from Lorus every week! We either order a take away or eat in and we love it. We are absolutely blessed to have such quality food right at our doorstep. Authentic Italian, so delicious and fantastic value for genuine quality. Who would have thought , real Italian food, cooked by an Italian man from Italian ingredients in south Roscommon! Their pizza, pasta, desserts, everything is unreal. But they also sell Italian produce and do party platters. Highly recommend this authentic, delicious food.
